We're committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children in our local community.
Kiwanis International is a global community of clubs, members and partners dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time. Kiwanis clubs around the world host nearly 150,000 service projects each year.
Locally, we empower members to work creatively to serve the needs of children in our communities. Although each community has different needs and each child is unique, our primary focus areas for funding and volunteerism are fighting hunger, improving literacy and educational opportunity, training for personal safety and guidance for a future of life success. Our funds are secured through generous donations and volunteer fundraising events by club members. This local Kiwanis Chapter has been providing financial and volunteer support for children’s programs since 1953.
what we do
The Lindenwald Kiwanis Club of Hamilton/Fairfield has three primary goals:
Serve local children
Participate in service projects
Provide engaging social interaction for our members
Each Year we distribute over $30,000 in funds raised through our fundraising and social events.
We have supported such causes as Safety Town, Adopt a School, 4H, youth focused non-profit programs and local school student initiatives, just to name a few.
Our service projects have been focused on local food banks and elementary school projects.
Our social engagement opportunities include our weekly Wednesday meetings and building camaraderie working together planning and executing our fundraisers, as well as, side-by-side service projects.

Pancake Breakfast - Spring & Fall each year
Our Spring and Fall Pancake Breakfasts raise money to support programs and charities that serve our mission of making positive impacts that improve the lives of children.
The Spring Pancake Breakfast is held in Hamilton, historically in partnership with the Freshman School, and allows Kiwanians to serve the local community who support the club.
The Fall Pancake Breakfast is held in Fairfield, in partnership with the High School and the Fairfield School Choirs, and supports local charities and programs, as well as, generating proceeds for the choirs who assist in the fundraising.
Both Pancake Breakfasts serve up all you can eat pancakes and sausage along with generous portions of community engagement and fellowship.
Pizza Sales at Butler County Fair
For nearly five decades the Lindenwald Kiwanis Club of Hamilton/Fairfield has been involved with the Butler County Fair. One of our largest fundraisers is running a booth to serve pizza and soft drinks. The proceeds go toward programs. The booth is a staple at the fair and people seek us out for food and refreshments and contribute to our cause.
Thanksgiving Pie Sale
During the Pandemic of 2020, our traditional fundraisers were not possible. The club members brainstormed on how money could be raised because the support for youth was more critical during the crisis than ever before. Out of that challenge came the creativity of the Pie Sale. The club partners with Servatii’s Bakery to sell Thanksgiving pies that would allow for safe ordering and delivery and was so successful, it has become an annual fundraising event.

We know that one person can make a difference, but a group of individuals from various age groups and backgrounds, sharing their talents and resources, can have a huge positive impact on the children in Hamilton, Fairfield and other contiguous communities that we serve in Butler County, Ohio.
